Cappadocia was famous for its horses in antiquity. Ride calm, trained horses along Red and Rose Valley trails that cars and quads can't touch.
from €35 · Next available October 30
This plateau was famous for its horses in antiquity, and three thousand years on, a horse is still the most fitting way to cross it. On a sure-footed, well-trained mount you move at the land's own pace, quiet enough to hear the wind moving through the chimneys.
Horses go where engines can't: single file along the soft trails of Red and Rose Valleys, between rock walls that glow deeper as the sun drops. No experience is needed — every ride opens with a full briefing — and the sunset stretch is, by common agreement, the most beautiful hour to be out.

Red & Rose Valleys

Completely. The horses are calm and well-trained, every ride starts with a full briefing, and the pace is gentle and walking-led.
For the horses' wellbeing there's a rider limit of around 100 kg. Get in touch if you have any questions.
Long trousers and closed shoes with a small heel are best. Bring a scarf for dust and a light layer for after sunset.
The standard sunset ride is about 2 hours. Four-hour and full-day rides can be arranged on request.
Two quiet hours through Red and Rose Valleys on horseback, ending on the softest light of the day.
Plan your tour for a different day from your sunrise balloon flight, or for the afternoon of your flight day, so you’re never rushed.
