Your guide collects you from your cave hotel in a comfortable air-conditioned minibus.
Begin beneath Cappadocia's highest point — a Byzantine fortress honeycombed with tunnels — for the day's widest panorama.
No churches here, just a sculpture garden where wind and rain have carved camels, snakes and figures from the rock.
Walk among the famous multi-headed fairy chimneys where, legend says, the hermit St. Simeon lived in solitude.
On the banks of the red Kızılırmak river, watch a master throw clay on a kick-wheel — a craft unbroken since the Hittites — then sit to a Cappadocian lunch.
A whole village carved across three valleys and lived in until the 1950s. Wander rock-cut chapels, homes and tunnels in near silence.
The day closes at the most dramatic viewpoint of all, golden light raking across the tallest chimneys in Cappadocia.
Drop-off back at your door, with the whole north of Cappadocia behind you.
Yes, year-round. The caves stay cool so bring a light jacket; snow on the chimneys is spectacular.
